Full Description

Retubing and Tube Expansion services support the replacement of damaged tubes, assessment of existing tubesheets, and formation of tube-to-tubesheet joints in heat exchangers, boilers, and related equipment. Work begins with dimensional inspection of tubesheet holes and assessment of ovality, distortion, and other variations. Tooling and expansion parameters are then selected and qualified for the application. Appropriate checks may include wall-thinning assessment and joint-strength verification, in line with the approved engineering procedure and customer requirements.
